Environmental Management Systems Certification of Forest Enterprises in Ukraine

The peculiarities of the new instruments of environmental policy implementation in practical activities of the forest sector enterprises have been discussed in the paper. Special attention is given to the application of environmental management and environmental auditing as the most efficient instruments for the environment conservation. Chances and risks related to these instruments implementation analyzed on the case of joint company �Ukrshpon�- company with foreign investments that works in Ukraine. These chances and risks are compared with chances and risks, which are typical for the companies situated in the EU.
